Cant Figure out Backcombing?

At our salon Laura is the queen of backcombing. She taught me an awesome trick. Even if you have super fine hair this works. Take a come where the teeth are super close together. Take your hair and back comb it out, but trick is once you have it back combed as much as you can take your comb and press the bunched hair as tight as you can towards your head. You can hair spray each section after you do this. Once you get that done style as usual blending all the sections. It will hold all day!!!

Hair Color is Darker than you wanted?

Did you get your hair colored and it is a littler darker than you wanted. The best thing for your hair is to let it fade on its own. But if you can't wait a here is a quick fix to get it to fade out quickly. Wash your hair with dish soap. Let the soap sit on your hair for 15 min in a shower cap. Rinse with hot water. Then immediately put a deep conditioner on your hair let that sit for 5 min in a shower cap then rinse with warm water. The dish soap will dry your hair out so make sure you let the conditioner sit so it will help put the moisture back in your hair. If you don't have a deep conditioner use your regular conditioner.

Most people don't know that if you wash your hair in cool water the color will last twice as long. When you wash your hair in hot water, the heat lifts the cuticle of the hair and the color then comes out. With cool water it keeps the cuticle closed keeping the color in.
